  • The Xorus Asturie is a classic sliding, walk-the-dog style surface lure. With the ability to be much more subtle than its counterpart, the Patchinko. The Asturie has a long history of success in European fisheries, despite very different fishing styles, depending on the country. While some would work it very violently, others would work it very much in a finesse topwater action and find success in both retrieves. This lure works as a surface lure and on the retrieve, it can dive up to a foot below the surface, depending on how hard you work the rod tip. The Asturie casts like a bullet, thanks to its rear-weighted design, and due to its shape will work beautifully, even in a slight chop.
